Just as other Texas authors, D. Lee Lott’s love for reading has lead to her love for writing. Over twenty years ago she had a magazine article published, but life got in the way and she gave up writing. After realizing what a mistake that was, she is back to pursuing writing as a second career. Other accomplishments were writing newsletters as well as creating menus and users manuals for different companies where she worked. She has written a Server Training Manual for small independent restaurants. The first book she wrote started as a dream that she felt the need to write down and the words just kept flowing. Mystery seems to be where her heart lies and she has written several short stories, one of which was published in an issue of The Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine. She currently has three books published and is working on a novel. When she's not writing, she's engrossed in painting or working in her garden.
