Information
We all love a well-told story. Like so many writers, I've been inspired by beautifully-told tales. Classic authors, and the Kings of our day, as well as many Indi Authors finally blooming in the glow of the reader's lamp... all contrbute to inspire this author.
I tend to read dark fiction. Horror has always intrigued me, but everything written well with great characters and plot, appeal to me.
A Prayer for Owen Meany and the Cier House Rules by John Irving made a big impact on my love for reading. Stephan King has a way of scaring the screams out of me and I do so enjoy that. I must admit, some of the best stories I hear, are told from the pulpit on Sunday. Any time a story can be succinct and moving, having direct impact on my life, then I'm impressed.
That is how I want to write. That is how I want to read.
