Life has been my motivation. I had a semi bad existence when I was a teen, I suffered with anxiety, depression, constant worry and stress. I found that writing was a much needed release of my daily life, it was the only thing that made me feel any relief.  I began writing as a young teenager. Life was hard but I chose writing rather than causing problems, doing drugs or stealing. As I grew older I came to realize that the writing still was the only outlet I felt that worked. I now have eight books lined up to self publish. Kiah is a main character in most of the books, she represents the strength I was forced to have growing up. Many incidents in my books have a personal meaning to me, though the scenarios are completely different from reality. Kiah starts as a young, less than well educated, rough, immature girl that is pushed into several situations that she never thought possible. Following her story is by far my favorite character and definitely my favorite to write. He's rough, rugged but there's just something amazing about him!

Still surviving. That seems like an achievement to me :)
