Yvette Wilson Bentley has always enjoyed creative writing but it wasn’t until recent years that she decided to pursue an active career as an author.   ENHANCING THE JOURNEY was Yvette’s freshman publication in 2012, which is a collection of devotions based on the author's personal experiences used to create a platform between the author and readers that will continue to enhance their spiritual journey and has received both four and five-star reviews on Amazon.com since its release.   Yvette quickly became an avid learner and embraced each component of the publishing process from start to finish which has empowered her to solidify her foundation as a non-fiction inspirational and self-help author as well as a literary entrepreneur.   Yvette currently holds membership status in a number of groups, including The Sisters of Ruth Book Club and the M-Pact Writers Group. She has also served as a contributing writer for numerous newsletters and local magazines. She has been the featured guest on a number of internet radio shows, including shows, including “Cross Your Bridge” “Inspirational Talk With Toneal” and the “Awakened Internet Radio Show."   Yvette also hosts a monthly teleconference, “Candid Conversations,” where she headlines a variety of self-help topics in a mini-keynote message and engages in conversation with her audience.   Yvette worships at Joshua Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville KY where she serves as a Sunday School Teacher, an advisory member for the Women’s Bible Study and a member of the Missionary Society.   A lover of philanthropic projects, Yvette has served on panels and committees geared towards fundraising for organizations such as The Healing Place and Spalding University. In her spare time, Yvette enjoys reading, bowling, traveling and relaxing with friends and extended family members.
