Osceola grew up in the Miller Homes Housing Projects in a family of four and struck out on his own as an army recruit at the young age of 17. He began preaching and teaching at the age of 20, while stationed at Rammstein Air Base in Kaiserslautern, Germany. During his tenure in the organized church as a minister and professor, Osceola had a lot of unanswered questions in his mind that deviated from the teachings of the Orthodox Church. He challenged the institution of marriage, monetary tithing, eternal damnation, and the rapture of the modern day church. His questions were met with resistance by the church leaders resulting in his resignation from organized religion and the founding of Sound Doctrine Publishing. Osceola now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina where he authors book that challenge conventional thinking. He is currently the author of two books that inspire critical thinking and activism.   

Osceola has been featured on WSOC TV and several radio stations and speaking platforms for Educational and juvenile Justice Annual Conferences.He has spent over twenty years partnering with Juvenile Justice, Educational, and Mentoring agencies throughout the United States to help keep youth maintained in the least restrictive environment. Osceola is a professional grant writer and nonprofit consultant with a proven track record of garnering millions of dollars for school systems and public nonprofit organizations. Osceola graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and a Masters degree in Church Leadership. He served as a devout minister and foreign missionary of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church and as held the position of adjunct professor for Eschatological Studies.
