It is about a very distant relative, a hero of the Hundreds' Years War who became a notorious serial killer! Even though I graduated Phi Betta Kappa, Cum Laude and a distinguished European History Scholar from Wheaton College, Norton, MA I had never hear of the true Bluebeard whose real name was Gilles de Rais. I became fascinated with his life and its many facets.
