My soul reason for writing is it's a passion. I've always written all my life. When I was a teenager, I won a short story contest. My mom was so proud of me. I said then that I was going to be an author. I didn't think it was going to happen living in a small city like Dothan. Nevertheless, I continued to write. It was something that made me feel better when I was in a stressful situation. Writing is a source of relaxation for me. I love the things you can achieve when you write. You can be anything that your mind allows you to dream of. You can be the beauty queen or a mean girl. You control the ending of your writing. There's no greater feeling. My motivation is to show my kids that you can do anything you put your mind to. I want them to be a lover of words like I am. I want them to be proud of working for a dreaming and seeing it come true.
