My work background is in computer support. My aspiration background has always been an avid reader seeking to bloom into a writer. My influences are too numerous to list. I grew up reading science-fiction in the sixties and this burned in a desire to embody imagination in words. Though I've read many novels I particualrly like short stories and and have immersed myself in writers like Chekov, Jorge Luis Borges, Virginia Woolf, Vladmir Nabakov, Flannery O'Connor, Ralph Ellison and Saul Bellow. Three big creative influences on me are the writer Harlan Ellison, guitarist Jimi Hendrix, and the martial artist Bruce Lee. I view them as a sort of trinity of the height of passion and creaitivity. I use them as human compasses whenever I'm tempted to laziness.
