I was born and raised in Sunny San Diego, California. A creative writing class in junior high sparked my desire to tell stories. I've been a hostess, bookkeeper, accountant, manager, and animal advocate, but writing anything paranormal has always been my passion. Throughout my professional career, I squeezed in writing whenever I could. I camped out late at night in front of my computer, with my three basset hounds, Stuart, Morgan, and Dexter, my toughest critics asleep at my feet. My inspiration as an author stems for my "literacy love" for Author Anne Rice, She is the author of over 30 novels. I have continually followed her throughout the years, and she continues to be someone I respect and admire as an Author and as a person. Anne Rice is well known for her first novel, Interview with the Vampire, that was published in 1976 and has gone on to become one of the best-selling novels of all time. She continued her saga of the Vampire Lestat in a series of books, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles, which have had both great mainstream and cult followings. She is also the author of other novels, including The Witching Hour, Servant of the Bones, Merrick, Blackwood Farm, Blood Canticle, Violin, and Cry to Heaven.
