As forensic pathologists, many of our friends would often say, "You have such an interesting career. You should write a book." Then one day we discussed some potential plot lines. This was followed by a prologue then more chapter flourished. Plot lines deviated from the initial arc. Friends read the drafts and gave enthusiastic reviews. We were still left without a suitable ending until the "suitable ending" muse visited us.
