I love stories that twist the expected into the unexpected. My earliest influence was "Twilight Zone." Neil Gaiman and Joe R. Lansdale have also inspired me. On the other hand, I've done freelance writing for local newspapers and have had a number of stories in "Chicken Soup for the Soul" anthologies.
