The written word has always been my best mode of communication. When I was a kid I discovered the world of books and began reading novels in the second grade. A trip to the school library was the highlight of my day. As I grew older, I wrote poetry, the rhyming kind to express myself after reading some of the major works of known poets.
I worked at several jobs in my life until landing at a sheriff's office where I stayed for about twenty years. You can surmise the influence there.
Now that I am retired, I fill the hours with imaginary characters who resemble people I have known, both likable and detestable.

None worth mentioning. I am rather quiet and don't reach out to attain these.

I have written about ten books, some under the Linda L. Dunlap name and others under my secondary, Linda L. Davis. Murder is Dunlap, Romance and other genre is Davis. Barely more than computer illiterate, I get by with help from my two brilliant daughters and a friend or two, so my marketing skills are way below what they should be.
