Since 2001, I have been the publicity/marketing director & researcher for best-selling novelist Barbara T. Bradford. I also serve as an editorial and marketing consultant for a collection of first-time authors through The Editorial Department. Previously, I worked as a PR executive, promoting first-time celebrity authors. From 1995 - 2001, I was widely credited with inventing the "living celebrity postal phenomenon." In all, I have worked with more than 40 legendary personalities creating high-profile media events to celebrate their postal recognition by foreign nations. My first book is due out on November 10 2016. I am hoping to have combined all my unique experiences to bring you a novel of love & betrayal, music & fanfare, downfall & redemption -- a fable of stardom's rewards, set in New York City during the 1990s. Among contemporary authors I am most influenced by Nick Hornby and Carl Hiaasen. Both of these storytellers blend a great deal of pop-culture and humor into their fiction. That has always been a drawing card for me. Hiaasen even has one book called Basket Case which is based around a fictional pop song of the same title. It provided a good deal of inspiration while I edited my novel. Among classic writers, I'd point to Oscar Wilde. His novel, The Picture Of Dorian Grey had a major influence on my use of wordplay and humor in my own writing.

Eloquently written song lyrics highlight this successful novel by Ostrow. His paean to the music industry and true love is a compelling read. The manipulative Katherine is ever-present, which adds dimension to the story. This is a classic tale of star-crossed lovers. Johnny’s up-and-down career is the thing great novels are built on.
