I grew up in a storytelling family. My mother and father used to entertain my siblings and me with stories handed down through the family. This of course was before the internet and information overload. I was raised in Dublin,a historic city in Ireland. This explains why I love writing historical fiction. 

I received a B.A. and M.A from West Virginia University. I also received a certificate in creative writing. In addition, I received awards from the annual West Virginia Writers' competition. My short fiction has appeared in magazines, reviews and anthologies.
