I think I was born with an old soul... I love Classic movies, listened to those great crooners... Bing Crosby, Englebert Humperdinck, Elvis Presley... who didn't love that guy? I was always fascinated with my dad who could play the guitar and sing at the same time. He wasn't that good but he tried. I always sang in the shower, in front of the stereo and in my room with a pretend microphone. I fascinated singing in front of girls while falling deep in love. I think that's why I loved singing in front of girls I knew over the years... obviously there was no real true love that enjoyed it as much as I did. Music has always been a special part of my life... especially with that one great song... those heart felt lyrics, that soulful melody that makes your body move with every note. I've always been better on paper than face to face. I was great in English and Literature classes. I could really write a story that would keep you reading. At least in my mind... My dad wasn't around much and my mother was/is a very emotional person. I have my dad's passion with my mother's reservations. Mom has always been very religious, my faith comes from her. When it's quite, like right now, I think a lot about the ones that got away... It's hard to forget a good thing. I'm not very good at goodbye.
