Lily Ann Fouts is the co-author of Seven Years Running, the gripping true story of her childhood as a fugitive. Kidnapped by her mother to protect her and her sister from an abusive father, Lily grew up in Mexico and fell in love with travel and adventure. As an adult, Lily has worked as a teacher, government employee, business owner, and writer. She re-adopted an adventurous life of travel and has visited six continents, living on three of them--including Antarctica. Her time in South America prompted the book Live Like a Local in Loja, about her experience in Ecuador. She lives a nomadic lifestyle with her husband, Keith, alternating between living and working in their motorhome in the U.S. and traveling overseas. Lily believes that a background of abuse does not mean that you can’t survive and thrive on the other side, and considers herself the luckiest person in the world.
