I'm motivated by my love and history and its preservation. I must love the places I write about. They must be of particular interest to me; so much so that my motivation remains steady throughout the research and writing process. If not me, then who? I've written about places no one else has written about.  

I consider it an achievement that my current book "Phoebe's House ~ A Hearst Legacy" has been approved by Stephen Hearst himself to be sold in the gift shop at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California.

The CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY in Sacramento chose my book "PHOEBE'S HOUSE~A HEARST LEGACY" as their BOOK of the WEEK for the week of October 23, 2017. Happy and honored!
