There are so many stories to be told - to amuse, to educate, to titillate, to take a reader into a different world, a different time, a different place, if only for a little while. With a career that took me to over 20 countries, this simple farm girl with a passion for reading and a good turn of phrase, as well as good food and wine, has worked in maritime and border security, hands on as well as consulting and training. Now semi-retired, I live on the Upper Cumberland Plateau in TN, with a fascinating husband, an Italian mastiff, a tiny ginger cat, and 4 horses. Its time to tell some of those stories!
