Sue practiced law as a criminal defense attorney for twenty years before starting her writing career. Her hobbies are hiking, Asian martial arts, travel and ice hockey.

Her first book, Hopelessly Compromised, won the Beacon Award for Best Historical Romance of 2000;
Second book, His Baby, Her Heart, was a RITA finalist and won awards in the Laurel Wreath and Bookseller's Best contests;
Third book, The Ranger and the Rescue, won the Smooch Award from the Cata-Romance website;
2d degree black belt in kempo karate; Fourth book, In the Sheikh's Arms, appeared on the Waldenbooks Bestseller List for Category Romance.
Her sixth and seventh books, including her first murder mystery appeared in 2006. SPY GAME will be published in February 2007.,
