After overcoming her 8 year Major Depression and PTSD Natasha Bronfman has become a passionate mental health advocate determined to bring awareness to, and erase the shame and stigma of living with mental illness. She earned a Certificate in Mental Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and was appointed to the Consent and Capacity Board Tribunal to adjudicate on patients’ involuntary committal to psychiatric institutions. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Toronto and is a dynamic speaker sharing her powerful story of lived experience with mental illness at conferences and corporate events.
