I completed my undergraduate work in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1967 and my master’s degree in X-ray astronomy at the University of California, San Diego, in 1969. After participating actively in the anti-Vietnam War movement in San Diego, I moved to Aspen, Colorado in 1970 and began a 20-year career in the music business.
In 1972 I found myself inquiring into the nature of consciousness and its relationship to the world we live in. Two years later, I had a profound experience that forever altered my view of how consciousness and the physical world are related. Since then, I have endeavored to explain why the world shows up the way it does. In so doing, I have experienced within myself the power to determine the quality of my own life. As primary influences, I credit Carlos Castaneda, Werner Erhard, Prem Rawat and Esther Hicks who have inspired and taught me so much during my journey of discovery.
