I began writing 36 years ago, having published my first books and short stories in 1987. I have published 10 books so far in multiple genres--with my agent holding an additional eight titles. I write SF, fantasy, young adult, romance, paranormal and thriller. I belong to 21 writing clubs, display sites and writing organizations. My first  literary influence was Twilight Zone Magazine, and then I began reading authors like Poul Anderson, Joseph Wambaugh, Alan Dean Foster, Peter Benchley and Bob Heinlein. My earliest short stories propelled me into the Science Fiction Writers of America. I landed the agent Richard Curtis, and he sent out my first repped novel Dinothon. Dinothon made its way to the Cohen Brothers and director John Badham. We got an option, but Micheal Crihton's Jurassic Park beat me out of contention for publication and a feature movie. However, I had never been more honered.  

RECENT NEWS! Bronze medal winner in the Reader's Favorite International Book Awards Contest; YA Book of the Year in the N.N. Light novel writing competition, and 5-Star review and badge in the Reader's Favorite Review.

Finalist in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest. Took the first place grand prize in a publisher's YA novel writing contest, offered advance and publication. The Best in Show award winner, The Girl they Sold to the Moon, from the Entranced Novel Writing Competition.
