I've been writing most of my life. Major influences have been Hemingway, Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, David Olney, Johnny Mercer, Camus, Lawrence Durrell. Lyn Yutang, ("The Importance of Living"), Krishnamurti, ("Freedom from the Known"), and Allan Watts, "The Wisdom of Insecurity"), Herman Hess.  I had stacks of notebooks, and papers filled with lyrics, and poetry which became the poetry book, "One Man's Journey." Somehow, I wrote my way through life and the joy in that now is I remember friends, and companions, places and events in a poem, or lyric in an intimate way from my, poetry book, that grows in love with time.
