I have been telling stories since childhood. I have always dreamed of being an author. Reading is a way to worlds, adventures, knowledge unlimited. Most of my writing is from personal experience or of someone I've known. I grew up on a dairy farm where we also raised beef cattle and horses. We farmed all our vegetables, grain, fruit and nuts. I have two sisters. The farm we lived on and still own was first my grandparents and great-grandparents. My mother was from a big family and has fourteen brothers and sisters. We are a close-knit family and get together every year to renew our love and heritage. I don't write in any one genre. I am in the process of honing any writing skills I may have in order to become a better writer. I have done some short stories, poems, articles, and essays.  I have a granddaughter and have begun to try my hand at children's stories. I would welcome any comments or reviews you may have.

I have won many writing contests on Writing.Com and been published in their newsletters as well as an E-zine, Shadows.
