Dimitris P. Kraniotis in 2003, 2004 and 2005 was awarded Medals by the International Academy “Lutece” in Paris (France). In 2005, 2006 and 2007 was nominee "Poet Of The Year" and in 2005 was awarded the Silver Award Bowl and Medallion ("International Poet of Merit Award") by the International Society Of Poets in Washington DC(USA). In 2005 was awarded the "Special Award in Poetry" in 1st Poetry Festival of Thessaloniki (Greece). In 2006 was awarded the "2nd Muses Prize - Poetry: Best Multi-Lingual Poetry Book of Year 2005" (in USA) for his book "Fictitious Line". In 2006 was awarded as "Man of the Year 2006" by the American Biographical Institute (USA). In 2007 was awarded by the United Poets Laureate International (UPLI) in 20th World Congress of Poets (Montgomery, Alabama, USA).
