Information
Since I have been traveling almost full time via motorhome, I decided to pursue my passion and write.I now have the time to devote to it. My first book, THE PERFECT DRESS is available for purchase at most .com bookstores and my website www.booksbymaryjanecole.com. It is a retro novel set to the music of the times about one woman's struggle to make a name for herself in the bridal design field, her challenges, her loves and mistakes along the way and the colorful characters she meets in her life.

Accomplishments
I have some achievements I am most proud of my tennis achievements, my work in social services and mostly my design ideas with Interior work. The design of the Barkery K-9 cafe' was a hoot as it was on international tv; speaking in Vero Beach Florida on design; some newspaper articles on my design accomplishments and living to be 55 years old relatively unscathed mentally and physically.
Recently my husband and I took up hiking and we tackled some of the pretty difficult hikes in Colorado. I loved it so much I hiked Pikes' Peak for charity this year. It was an awsome experience! I am going back to do a rountrip- to the summit and back down. 13,200 feet! 7,500 vertical feet one way. Not bad for an old hag. I am running and plan to do a half-marathon someday soon.
