I was born of goodly parents, who raised me as a member of a family with 11 siblings, all from the same lineage. They taught me right from wrong, and those teachings stayed with me as I left home at a young age to hitchhike across the United States. Finding myself drifting aimlessly, and being of the legal age to enlist, I joined the Marine Corps and traveled the world. I worked as a photojournalist and dreamed of becoming the next Edward Murrow. That was not to be, as my life took a turn towards marriage and raising a family. I attended the University of Utah (along with a few other schools) but was making an excellent living in sales, so did not finish. It wasn't until I returned to school after a twenty year absence (at Wright State University) that I began to take my writing seriously once more. I graduated in March 2006 with a BA in English and am continuing my studies in Education so that I may teach. I ahve been married to the same woman for twenty five years, I have four sons, and one grandson. I take care of my wife on a daily basis due to her various illnesses (stemming from diabetes). I am conservative and spiritual in my viewpoints and my first book (published in Feb 2006) is evidence of that. It is titled; Plates of Gold and other Spiritual Poems and it contains poems of a spiritual nature. I have three other books in varying stages of publication with the next one due out in about 3 months. It is titled: The Donkey and the Elephant and is a book similar to Animal Farm.
