Jim, a Vietnam veteran, born in Albany, New York in 1950, was an adventurous child, who seemed to always live on the edge striving to reach his next goal. His family moved to the Chicago area in 1958 where he was raised in a loving and caring home. Jim has one older brother and three younger sisters that have all returned to live in the Chicago area. In 1969 he left the world he knew to serve his country in Vietnam. After returning home, to the land that he loves, Jim continued the pursuit of his dreams. As in all walks of life, there are many roads one must travel to fulfill their dreams and goals. Jim has been down many of them, as each turn delivers another challenge. He has spent most of his working career in the corporate structure and starting new companies. Authoring a novel seemed to be an unrealistic dream, but being the entrepreneurial person that he is and having an everlasting ability to make people happy, Jim took yet another turn in the road of life. To him, success is not measured in numbers, but the enjoyment people get out of reading his novels. Now in his mid 50s, Jim is living with his bride of 14 years just west of Chicago as they work another dream on their horse farm, working full time, while still finding the time to work on his next novel.
