Jeff Martin, his friend, Hawk, and his dachshund dog are captured by Osage Indians. Eventually they escape and find their way home. Due to his unusual shape Adolphus is called a Spirit Dog.

Information
My legal background and experiences as a Division I collegiate track athlete were major influences on my first novel, "The Champion Maker." It's a hybrid of suspense and sports fiction, probing the controversy surrounding the looming threat of gene doping in athletics.
Accomplishments
"The Champion Maker" was selected as a finalist for PMA's 2006 Benjamin Franklin Award (Best New Voice - Fiction).
