My life changed on February 28, 2006, at 4:45 p.m. when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I would have fallen apart, but I didn't have the luxury. I watched my life as if it were a movie, as I underwent surgery, then chemotherapy and radiation. I am only 32 years old. I have a 3-year old daughter. While undergoing chemotherapy, I laid in bed one night and had a chat with God. I was pretty angry and tired. I told him that if he got me through this, then I would know that he was God and I would be a witness for Him. It is eight months later. I am undergoing radiation, yet I am happier than I have ever been. I now know my purpose in life. I began writing my first novel and am nearly complete. The book talks about my experience and how breast cancer changed me life...for the better. I now TRULY live in every moment. I am Editor-in-Chief of Global Woman Magazine; I am a motivational speaker and I host monthly webinars to educate women about various health issues (womenshealthseminars.com).

I have a Bachelor's in Communication, and am also currently pursuing my MBA.
