I now reside in the Hudson Valley NY, but I was born and raised in Greenwich Village in the days when it flourished with big families and small mom & pop stores. Thriving in such a celebrated and eclectic area of creativity I developed a passion for arts & crafts. I enjoy writing poetry and have also enjoyed dabbling in songwriting. I am also a jewelry designer with a popular mother & child design called "A Mother's Heart."          

Several of my inspirational poems are published in anthologies.

I became a wife in 1979 and mother of two children in 1981 and 1983.

I became certified in Nutrition in 1982.

In 1992 I composed a patriotic song that received a Congressional Seal by the 500th Quincentenary Jubilee Commission headed by then Secretary of State James A. Baker.

In 1999 I designed an orignal mother & child charm and formed my own company named Heartbeat Designs [www.heartbeatdesigns.com].

In 2004 my design was mass produced and sold in major department stores.

In 2005 I was commissioned to design a charm for actress Karolyn Grimes - for the part of Zuzu Bailey she played in the classic movie "It's A Wonderful Life."
