Douglas Ross was born to Viola E. Scott, and Robert L. Henry— in Richmond, Virginia, in the nineteenth-hundred and fifty-sixth year of our Lord Jesus Christ. The youngest of five siblings, Douglas “Doug” Ross endured many trials and setbacks in his life. One day—while pondering through the bible, Doug stumbled upon a prayer that was handwritten in the back of the bible. It was a prayer for salvation. He decided to pray the prayer and ask Jesus to come into his life. After praying, he felt a peace that he’d never experienced before. The next day, Doug began to read the bible and something was different. Before, he could not fully understand what the bible was saying. But today, the words seem to jump right off of the pages. It was clear; God was speaking to him from the pages of the bible. In 1994 he organized Glory To God Ministries, Inc. In 1995 he founded the Nurture House, a ministry to men coming out of prison, drug use, and homelessness. In 1998, he became the Pastor of Greenbrier Baptist Church in Powhatan, Virginia. In 1999, Douglas L. Ross In the year of 2006, Pastor Douglas L. Ross published his first book: “I’m Still in His Hands.” Presently Pastor and Founder of God Chasers International Church—Richmond, Virginia. Pastor Ross is the husband of one wife (Gwendolyn D. Ross). Pastor Douglas L. Ross is an anointed, gifted, and accomplished preacher and teacher of the word of God. This is just the beginning of what God has ordained for this man of God. The best is yet to come!
