The influences behind my writing are mainly my very own life experiences, relationships(usually failed ones), friendships, family and those things that are soooo hard to deal with called emotions. My latest book is a mickey take of myself and of course others but I'm sure most people reading it could relate to the character in one way or another.   

I am a construction manager by profession having started in building surveying and gaining a construction management degree followed by full charter ship status of the chartered institute of building and more recently a masters degree in regeneration and urban renewal . My interest in building probably came from helping my father build sheds and walls on his allotment and at home as well as the fabulous times we spent in caves and caverns where he fought me about rocks and iron ore- needless to say, I was a bit of a Tom boy.
