Hi. I'm D. Mikels, author of three novels: "Dawn of the Transcendence"; "Walk-On"; and "The Reckoning." I think fiction should be fun, but it also should be provocative. So if you pick up one of my books, know that I'm going to challenge you. I'm a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in broadcast journalism. In my career I've done just about everything: reporter, program director, trucking executive, now self-employed (thank goodness). I have three grown children and the best lover and soulmate one could ever hope to have. She deserves a metal (several times over). I've always been motivated to write, and the three novels mentioned above were ideas that cooked in my brain for many years. It was over a decade ago when I finally had the time in my life to write, so write I did. And I'm not finished yet (I hope). Guten tag.
