I have no real formal training, outside of college english and lit classes. I have been told most of my life that I have a way with words, and have been accused a time or two of twisting words to my advantage! I have also been told by family and friends alike, that I should write a book. I have been rightfully accused of having an uncanny knack for detail and could tell stories all night long. Being half Italian, I have been called a "Kackyadone" losely translated "a chatterbox". I also enjoy genealogy a great deal. It is a subject/hobby that requires a keen eye, patience, as well as endless hours of web searching. Along with being half Italian (my father's side) I am also part English, German, Scottish and very possibly Cherokee Indian (Mom's side) I love to draw, bake new desserts, gourmet cooking, home improvement projects, and to refinish old things and make them new again. I have a few favorite authors; most of all, my idol- Mary Higgins Clark. Her stories draw me in and hold me captive till the very end. Kate Douglas, author of the Wolf Tales series. Very Erotic stuff. My face flushed within the first 20 pages! Love Stephen King books- favorite was Dreamcatcher. Tami Hoag, excellent author as well. And last but not least-Sylvia Browne. Love her to death. Her writings just put into words how many of us really feel about religion. Much of what she says make perfect sense to me. She has the logical viewpoint that makes one question what one has been told growning up. I like her frankness. Other hobbies: astrology, psychology of the criminal mind, photography, and teaching my daughters all of the above.

Cert. in Private investigation/security, 3 1/2 years in Junior Air Force ROTC-end rank/ MSGT. First self published book- Mystic Awakenings, published on March 30th, 2007.It contains my writings, 8 poems and 4 or 5 drawings.
