"The Great Teen Fruit War, A 1960 Novel" involves conflict between the Blues (sons of blueberry farmers) and the Reds (sons of peach growers) in a southern New Jersey agricultural community.
I have taken pride in writing this novel as so many people have the wrong impression on bikers because they dress in leather clothing which is to protect themselves in case of an accident. The majority of bikers are known Policemen, Firemen, Doctors,
"I was a 'hood', destined for jail and then Hell. I was told in no uncertain terms, that Hell was waiting and that jail would be no better. Jail was just the jumping off place for Hell." The first line in my novel, "Sneak Teaching"

Information
I am a teacher at Tartan High School in Oakdale, Minnesota, a suburb of Saint Paul. I have seen a lot happen in this 2000+ student insitution. The book tells the story of the struggles and humor that can occur in this environment.
The book is a challenge to my students.... and the books are fun to write. I say if I can do this, then you can too....you are not that much different from me.... or so I tell students.
