While currently bookless, I am inextricably immersed in the publishing world in one way or another. As a technical consultant, I have always been the one to make sense out of the high tech goobledy-gook and write it in a way normal folks could digest it. I've been editor of several newsletters, and during some lean times in NYC I proofread for major publishers. I tried my hand at quicky romance magazines in my twenties (definitely not quick money - a penny per word sometimes. As a trainer I've written numerous technical texts and workbooks, created courses online and off, designed websites, and absolutely love web collaboration. I'm still a techy at heart and my first real book is a DIY piece. Oh and did I mention that I'm married to a writer who keeps bugging me to get those ideas down on paper (electronic or otherwise)?
