Influenced by Lord Byron up to Dylan Thomas, Tracy Mellor is a poet who lives with a serious form of Bipolar Disorder, and also advocates for those who suffer from mental illness. Her work can best be described as "striking, modern poetry with a visual flair...a fountain of feelings that make you think..." but of course prefers the reader to draw their own conclusions.

Tracy earned her B.A. Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Davis in 1992, and her M.S. Degree in Counseling with Honors - Phi Kappa Phi from California State University, Sacramento in 2001.
