My life has been about relationships and, having been infected with a love of words by my father and the nuns, I've always struggled to find just the right ones to express my feelings to those I love. I'm the author of hundreds of poems (some of which have actually been published), two cookbooks and four novels (none published to date). I enjoy writing for the sake of writing and reading feeds my soul.  In addition to reading and writing I sketch, design role-playing scenarios, knit and crochet, cook (because I like real food) and really enjoy my computer and the friends I've made on it.  I dislike cleaning (especially the refrigerator and the oven), manipulators, sports, religiosity (which is quite, QUITE different from God), sentimentality, phonies, shoes and chickpeas.
