I just like to write, perhaps because I stutter, and therefore it's the perfect medium for someone who has so many words inside but often finds it hard to express them verbally. I write thrillers and love the mix of politics with recent historical events. My first major influence was Alistair McLean and the Guns of Navarone, Fear is the Key etc. but more recently Grisham and a Time to Kill (his best book) has been my guide. Easy reading, nothing too complicated but with a good ending - those are my watch words.
