The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
I began writing when I was a young child to help deal with the terrible things that i was going through. I have been through abuse, teeange motherhood, drugs, recovery, children, marriage loss of children,etc and i am still here and still fighting. I am married to wonderful man and we live in Chicago with our beautiful children.

Information
.I was born in California to a very disfunctional family where I learned some terrible lessons but the best thing I did learn was to write. I am a mother to 6 wonderful children and married to a wonderful man. We live in Chicago and I use my writing to express myself.
I have one book published- The Rhythm of My Soul it is a poetry collection from things that have happen to me as I grew up. I hope you like it
