I was born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn. I love where I grew up at because you see your losers, your winners, and everything else in between. I have been writing since I have been in 3rd grade. My teacher Mrs. Smith, who I have dedicated my first book, "Girl, Get Your Mind Right!", told me as a child that I was special and that I should take my writing to the next level so that is exactly what I did. Everyday life influences me and my environment definitely sets the mood for my career as a writer. I love writing about real stuff. I dont like being fake... Because life is like a piece of art, we all take different things from it and thats whats great about writing. We can share those experiences...
