I have been writing journalism for many years, but have always had it in the back of my mind to write fiction. Starting about 10 years ago, I've been writing short pieces, about 15 of which have been published so far in small magazines and e-zines. I'm also the author of two self-published novels, "The Diner Under the El" and "Song of the Conquerors," and a collection of short fiction to be published by the Chris Six Group, "Moish and the Mob and Other Short Fiction." I've begun to read from my work publicly, and hope to do more.

Two awards for archaeology work in Israel, also one for taking part in a conference on helping people with psychiatric disabilities get jobs.
