Although I spend most of my time reading popular fiction, as a student of literature and writing, the works that I enjoyed the most were the ancient greek tragedies such as Euripedes "Medea".
When I read popular fiction for pure enjoyment, my favorite authors are Janet Evanovich, Sandra Brown, and Jackie Collins.
