I'm 19 years old and live in London England and have done all my life. I wouldn't call myself a writer per se as I do enjoy writing but feel I need to improve my skills and earn the title 'writer'. I believe stories and poems can say so much and often teach us something, which is more often than not, about ourselves. I love being a part of that either be it through writing or reading. Major influences, well I don't know really I mean I love reading the classics, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare and Chaucer but there are so many authors out there and so many stories and poems that I have read that I am sure have influenced me in some way. I have always enjoyed writing but often find myself not allowing time to write, something I want to change as I feel writing is a excellent way of expressing emotions that would otherwise not be expressed. I would like to be a published author in the future but would also settle for writing purely for carthartic reasons (although reviews are always nice) for myself. I'm not really sure what else to write (which is not such a good thing for a aspiring writer to say but it's the truth) so I'll leave it at that and say thank you for reading.

Not a whole lot really, I did gain a B grade in English Literature at GCSE level and a C in English Literature/Language at AS level. I'm currently waiting for my A level results, fingers crossed.
