Writing has always been my first love, but I didn't think to develop my potential... until now.
I’m a firm believer that things happen when they are supposed to and that I was meant to go through certain life experiences to place me in the position where I am now.
I hadn't written for a very long time until mid 2006 when a chance conversation and a suggested title found me writing and enjoying writing all over again. In almost 18 months I have written over 200 new poems. I write about all sorts from suggested titles I’ve been given or poems made up from things I hear people say to random thoughts that cross my mind and committing to paper the strange dreams I have.
My dream for 2007, was to publish a book of poetry (or two!) before the end of this year. "INSPIRED" my first book of poetry is now becoming a reality. After all, this was a goal I set myself on my last birthday in the presence of some of my best and closest friends, besides, I don’t want them asking me this birthday “So where’s your book then?”

Accomplishments
It's been a year since I started performing my work live. I've entered slams and have been featured in a showcases and open mics. My latest performance in a showcase was Saturday 23rd Feb 08 @ Live Mic at the Marie Lloyd Bar next to London's Famous Hackney Empire.
I now co-host and perform at a new fortnightly spoken word and open mic event for North West London @ Flirtease Dessert Bar & Cocktail Lounge (www.flirtease.co.uk) with www.HOT96.co.uk radio presenter Mz Blu - My Partner in Poetry.
Together, we set up WE Poet in order to give
OUR local poetry community somewhere to go to hear poetry and for the poets (unknown and established) somewhere to showcase their work in a positive and inspiring environment.

I hope to eventually release a cd of my poetry with and without musical accompaniment.
