He takes a mis-calculated sea journey and gets stranded in the Caribbean Islands of ca. 1695. It is partly based on Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST and the main character is modeled on English composer Henry Purcell. It will be completed in a second book that is almost finished. Achievements: to play the piano as an adult (beginning at age 18!) is an achievement believe me; I stuck to it under thick and thin!

Wrote numerous papers on 20th century composers like Stravinsky; classic modern authors like Kafka, Dostoyevsky (sic); Crime & Punishment, Notes from the Underground, The Idiot were upheavals! Major American literary influences: Thoreau, Whitman, Emerson, Twain, London. Can't claim any recent novelists as an influence believe it or not! I'll take the classics!
