I was raised in Michigan but visiting my families coal mining roots in Pennsylvania was something I very much looked forward to as a child. As an adult my husband who is Welsh took me to his homeland, Wales. I was fascinated by their history and by how much their country side reminded me of my childhood trips to New Salem, Pennsylvania. Multitudes of Welsh had immigrated to America to work the in the mines and Pennsylvania in particular was a very popular place to settle.

Completion of my first novel to which I have recieved stellar reviews and accolades. I am also and accomplished painter an have talents which I have not yet begun to tap into.
