My love of writing had been left behind for many years as business, promotions and earning larger incomes turned my direction to other paths. In the mid-1990's, though, I left a career as the Purchasing Manager of US West NewVector (the company's cellular arm), reconnecting with my love of writing and desiring to discover my purpose. This also connected me to spiritual matters and traveling to India, Israel, Pakistan, and Greece. Years later, the trip to India birthed the publication of my first book, India travel memoir, Moonlight on the Ganga. It has more recently been re-released through Open Road in print and as an ebook. In 2020, my poetry collection is newly released under the new title of Lying in the Arms of God: Poems of a Sacred Romance. Initially, this is a Kindle, but a print version will follow. New birth, new life, new adventures, new stories, and new books...

- When originally published by a small press out of San Francisco, my first book, "Moonlight on the Ganga," won 3rd place in the Best Editing Category by the Pacific Northwest Publisher's association

- I was also organizer of the original Southern Oregon Book & Author Fair, held annually in Ashland, Oregon, from 2003 to 2008. Another event has since replaced that through the library, but it would be a mistake to think it is part of that original organized event.
