My name is Kathryn Y Thacker and i have lived in England since i was born. I love animals and nature. I have taken GCSE's and am now studying for A levels in Engligh Literature, Media Studies, Sociology and History. I hope to do a creative writing course in university. I have written poems and started writing a short story, which i hope to expand into a book. My major influences would be emotions (mainly love or lack off) and poets such as Carol Ann Duffy, E. R. Hughes and William Blake. Novelists i admire are as follows: Tim Bowler, Michael Frayn, John Steinbeck, Catherine Roberson and Darren Shan. Another influence would be my English Teacher who is so passionate about English it is a pleasure to be taught by her. ---------------------------------------------- I am a biological organism consisting of enzymes and bacteria (and other yucky stuff). I am a bipedal primate belonging to mammalian speices Homo sapiens (Latin: "wise human" or "knowing human" - Yeah right...) My name comes from the greek "Katheros" meaning pure. Warmth and happiness shall be radiated in my presence for I forever smile. Friendship is the one of the most important things to me.
